master the arts and sciences of eating rice using chopsticks!!
(that may sound funny but...It's difficult)

watch anime episodes every day!!
(this is important!!!)

Study the primitive language used in japan!!...
(start on romanji it's much easier xD)

attending events like ozine fest!!!(even if you got bumped, persevere my friend)

watch more anime!!... now 5 episodes a day... and read manga too!...
step 6
dream to go to Japan!!
that is our pilgrimage!!

If nothing works... watch Lucky Star and Haruhi Suzumiya!!
It really converts people into otaku!!
